U.S. Army Opens Kansas Facility to Boost 155mm Artillery Ammo Output
In a significant move to bolster its defense production capabilities, the U.S. Army has inaugurated a new ammunition production facility in Parsons, Kansas. The plant is dedicated to the load, assemble, and pack phase of manufacturing 155mm artillery shells, marking a critical step in the Army's broader effort to modernize and expand its munitions production base. Once fully operational, the facility is expected to produce up to 12,000 projectiles per month, contributing to the Army's ambitious
