Pentagon Signs $4.7 Billion Deal to Boost Patriot Missile Production
The Pentagon has inked a staggering $4.7 billion contract with Lockheed Martin to ramp up production of Patriot Advanced Capability-3 (PAC-3 MSE) interceptor missiles. This deal, part of a broader seven-year agreement, aims to more than triple annual output of these critical air defense weapons. The PAC-3 MSE plays a central role in the U.S. Army's missile interception systems and is heavily relied upon by both Washington and its allies, including Ukraine, for defense against ballistic threats.
