Haitian Immigrant Arrested for Fatal Hammer Attack in Florida

A Haitian immigrant, Rolbert Joachim, is in custody after allegedly killing a gas station clerk with a hammer in Fort Myers, Florida. The attack occurred in broad daylight on April 3 outside the station where the victim worked. Surveillance footage reportedly shows Joachim smashing the woman’s car windshield before striking her multiple times in the head with a hammer. She died at the scene. Authorities have confirmed she was a mother of two teenagers, though her name has not yet been released.
